Signe's Heaven Bound Bakery & Café

Signe's Heaven Bound Bakery & Café Review

Every morning locals roll in for the deep-dish French toast, crispy polenta, and whole-wheat waffles. Since 1972, European-born Signe has been feeding islanders her delicious soups, curried chicken salad, quiches, and loaded hot and cold sandwiches. The beach bag ($12 for a cold sandwich, pasta or fresh fruit, chips, a beverage, and cookie) is a great deal. The melt-in-your-mouth cakes and the rave-worthy breads are amazing.
