Hilton Head and the Low Country Restaurants

CQs Review

If you heard that all island restaurants are in shopping centers and lack atmosphere, then you need to experience CQs. Its rustic ambience—heart-pine floors, sepia-tone island photos, and a lovely second-story dining room—coupled with stellar cuisine, a personable staff, live piano music, and a feel-good spirit put most of the island's other restaurants to shame. Start with the mussels with lemon butter broth, herbs, and crostini. Try the oven-roasted beets with pecan-crusted goat cheese, arugula, and strawberry balsamic, and the ahi tuna for your main course. The staff can pair your wine perfectly from an impeccable list. The restaurant is in the Harbour Town section of Sea Pines resort and will reimburse you for the gate pass fee ($5) with the purchase of at least one main course.
