Doubletree Guest Suites

Fodor's Review:

One of the best-managed hotels in the city, the all-suites Doubletree has a staff that anticipates your every need. Business travelers, sports teams, and families frequent the downtown high-rise. The Capitol -- visible from many of the rooms, spectacularly so from upper-story balconies -- is only a few minutes' walk away. Most of the classically decorated suites have one bedroom and two TVs; some have two bedrooms, two baths, and three TVs; four are penthouses. Each has a small kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and dishwasher. A free shuttle takes you anywhere within a 2-mi radius. Smoking is only allowed on the third floor. Pros: Superbly run, above-average ambience. Cons: Can be crowded, busy area, fee for parking.

  • Hotel Details: 188 suites
  • In-room: kitchen, refrigerator, Wi-Fi.
  • In-hotel: restaurant, room service, bar, pool, gym, laundry facilities, laundry service, parking (paid), some pets allowed, no-smoking rooms.
  • Credit Cards: AE, D, DC, MC, V
