The Arboretum at Great Hills

Fodor's Review:

No longer considered the premier outdoor mall for well-heeled Austinites, the Arboretum lost some of its luster after the Domain opened. But Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, the Cheesecake Factory, Barnes & Noble, and the Sharper Image remain (for now), and the neighboring Renaissance Hotel is still doing booming business. The adjoining 95 acres of tree-studded parkland (for which the center is named) make this a lovely place to while away an hour -- or three. Don't miss the life-size marble cow sculptures.
