Crowne Plaza

Fodor's Review:

A mall and shopping plaza are 2 mi from this seven-story hotel continually bustling with conventions and meetings; downtown is 4-5 mi away. Renovations are ongoing at this writing, slated to be completed in March 2008. Prime rib and similar fare is served in the restaurant, but there are several decent places to eat nearby. Complimentary vans shuttle you within a 3-mi radius. Rooms have plush, comfy beds. One extra is a Sleep Advantage packet with a calming CD, sleep tips, eye mask, ear plugs, and lavender linen spray. Pros: Full-service hotel with responsive staff, modern amenities. Cons: Large and impersonal, lots of conventions and big groups.
