Dharma Cafe
Dharma Cafe Review
On rapidly gentrifying Houston Avenue—in a historic industrial building that's beginning to be surrounded by new town houses—cool, laid-back Dharma Cafe continues to put forth an innovative menu and presentation unlike anything else found in the city. You just never know what chefs Susan and John will find in their pantry and cooler that morning to whip up for lunch and dinner. Maybe it will be Blueberry Chicken Breast, chicken breast filled with blueberries, almonds, and ricotta and drizzled in a blueberry-brandy glaze. Or it could be a spinach salad topped with barbecued oysters and hot bacon dressing. Don't miss the ever-changing selection of desserts, including homemade cinnamon gelato. The Sunday all-you-can-eat buffet brunch, which includes a mimosa, is an amazing value at $15.
