The Fairmount Review
This historic luxury hotel made the Guinness Book of World Records when its 3.2-million-pound brick bulk was moved six blocks in 1985 to its present location. At the pinnacle of boutique, luxury hotels in San Antonio, it offers premium amenities such as flat-screen TVs, canopy beds, verandas, marble baths, and a courtyard with a fountain. The hotel is full of quirks, with the hotel dog, Luke Tips, manning the concierge desk, and different decor in each room. Across from HemisFair Park, it's fairly close to the River Walk, convention center, and La Villita.
