Visitor Information
Pick up maps, ask questions, and otherwise plan your stay at the Salt Lake Convention & Visitor's Bureau, on the east side of the downtown convention center. The office is open weekdays 9-6 and weekends 9-5. If you're at the State Capitol, make your plans at the Utah Office of Tourism, inside Council Hall across the street. Once a meeting place for politicians in the Utah Territory, Council Hall now offers brochures and books on tourist destinations throughout the city and state, and a knowledgeable staff can answer all your questions. A small gift store carries Utah books and gifts.
