Southwestern Utah Restaurants

Hell's Backbone Grill

Hell's Backbone Grill Review

One of the best restaurants in southern Utah, this remote spot is worth the drive from any distance. The menu is inspired by Native American, Western Range, Southwestern, and Mormon pioneer recipes. Chef-owners Jen Castle and Blake Spalding use only fresh, organic foods that have a historical connection to the area, so you might find buffalo burgers or cornmeal-molasses-pecan trout on the menu, and salads might contain strawberries, jicama, pine nuts, and dried corn. Their cookbook, With a Measure of Grace, is a gem worth owning, too.
