The Woodstock Inn & Resort Review

If this is your first time in Woodstock and you want to feel like you're in the middle of it all, stay here. Set back far from the main road but still on the town's gorgeous green, the Inn is the town's beating heart. Rooms are contemporary and luxurious, with huge flat-screen TVs, tasteful country-chic furniture, and terrific all-white bathrooms done in simple subway tiles. The main fireplace, set immediately through the front doors, burns impressive 3-foot logs. Guests enjoy small touches, like daily afternoon tea and homemade cookies. A new state-of-the-art spa features chic, minimalist design and a wide array of excellent services. Dining options include the elegant cuisine at the Red Rooster or more casual pub-style fare by the fire at cozy Richardson's Tavern. The resort also owns and gives you access to Suicide-Six ski mountain, the Woodstock Inn Nordic Center (featuring 18 mi of groomed, picturesque trails) and the Woodstock Inn & Resort Golf Club.
