Some rooms in this immaculate motel have decks—and almost all have views—overlooking the Ottauquechee River. Rooms are simple, a step above usual motel fare, with four-poster beds and wing chairs; two rooms have hot tubs, and the suite has a full kitchen. Complimentary coffee is served each morning; in summer sip it on the riverfront veranda. The real key here is walking distance to the green and all shops.
