The Mountain Top Inn & Resort Review
This Nordic skiers' and horseback riders' haven has stunning views and laid-back luxury accomodations. There's a full equestrian center with 40 horses, lessons, trail rides, as well as a summer camp for kids. There are ski and snowshoe rentals for guests who come to enjoy their 60 km of trails, plus a beach with kayaks and canoes in summer. The three suites have fireplaces, as do their cabins. The popular dining room restaurant features local foods in a slightly more formal setting; the Highlands Tavern has a casual and cozy pub feel.
