Trapp Family Lodge Review
Built by the von Trapp family, of Sound of Music fame, this Tyrolean lodge and its surrounding pastureland are the site of a popular outdoor music series in summer and an extensive cross-country ski-trail network in winter. Its bakery/cafe overlooking a breathtaking mountain vista serves food and local beers; a ski-accessible-only cabin offers homemade soups, sadnwiches and hot chocolate; the resort also has a fine dining restaurant and a more casual bar.
