Trolley Tours of Fredericksburg runs a 75-minute narrated tour of Fredericksburg's most important sights. Tours cost $17 and leave from the visitor center.

The tour coordinator at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center can arrange a group walking tour of the city as well as of battlefields and other historic sites to which you can drive. Reservations are required. The Fredericksburg Department of Tourism (in the visitor center) publishes a booklet that includes a short history of Fredericksburg and a self-guided tour covering 29 sights.
