Landmark Theatre
Landmark Theatre Review
Landmark Theatre was built in an extremely elaborate style with towering minarets and desert murals: when it was built by the Shriners in 1926, it was called "the Mosque," and still is by locals. Just west of downtown, the Landmark is known for its excellent acoustics and has the largest permanent proscenium stage on the East Coast; it hosts the road versions of Broadway shows, symphony performances, ballet, children's theater, concerts, and fashion shows.
