Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront Review
With its 17-story tower, the former Ramada Plaza Resort Oceanfront has been sold to private owners who promise a renovation of the 1960s-era high-rise. Rooms that do not face the ocean directly have either a partial view or overlook the swimming pool. The modern lobby has a skylighted atrium. The Surf Club Ocean Grill serves—predictably—seafood. The hotel's Kids Club is phenomenal, with scavenger hunts and big-screen TVs outside by the beach. With the free shuttle to 31st Street, you can walk the boardwalk daily.
