Compass Wines
Compass Wines Review
Compass Wines is possibly the state's premier wine shop, with lots of hard-to-find vintages from small wineries whose annual releases sell out quickly. The focus here is on Washington wines, but the store carries an impressive selection of Californian and European vintages as well. Besides wines, Compass purveys artisan cheeses and assembles delectable lunch baskets. If you're headed in for a tasting, be sure to wear a coat—the entire store is kept at cellar temperature.
