Bahn Thai

Fodor's Review:

Because of the variety and high quality of its dishes, Bahn Thai, a pioneer in local Thai food, is still one of the city's best and most popular places, so it's a good idea to make a reservation. Start your meal with a skewer of tangy chicken or pork satay, or with the tod mun goong (spicy fish cake), and continue with hot-and-sour soup, and one of the many prawn or fish dishes. The deep-fried fish with garlic sauce is particularly good -- and you can order it extra spicy. Evenings here are relaxed and romantic.
