The creators of the Coastal Kitchen have found their latest home at what was once the last stop on the trolley car line from Alki to Fauntleroy. Here you'll find pan-roasted mussels, breaded flounder, and chicken dredged in crunchy corn flakes and fried. The brick and old-growth timbers of the structure, which was built in the '20s, have been used to their full advantage to give the room an authentic saloon flavor. As always with this group of restaurants, the sundaes are dreamy, with special honors going to the coconut ice cream hot fudge sundae served with homemade coconut brittle.
