$$-$$$, Spanish, Madison Park
Fodor's Review:
Harvest Vine. Going to this tiny tapas-and-wine bar can be an adventure or trial, depending on your state of mind. First of all, it's in Madison Park, not at all close to anything, really. Secondly, limited seating means that unless you come early or score a reservation (they only hold a few tables each night for reservations), you might be waiting a while when you get here. But if you think you can shrug off those annoyances, do seek out this restaurant. The Basque tapas are outstanding; no matter what congenial owner Jose Jimenez de Jimenez puts together -- chorizo with grilled bread, pan-seared tuna belly with vanilla bean-infused oil -- he never goes wrong. There is an impressive wine and sherry list that focuses on Basque region wines.
