It's very hard to find good pizza in Seattle -- even those spots deemed the best in the city serve sad approximations of the classic slice. So, better to abandon the search for the cheap slice and go the gourmet route. Tutta Bella serves authentic Neopolitan-style pizzas that are made with organic local and imported ingredients and baked in a wood-fired oven. Crusts are thin but wonderfully chewy and sauces are light and tangy. They go easy on the cheese, so be sure to order extra cheese if that's what you're craving. The salads are excellent, too. Takeout is available, but many people opt to sit down in the spacious dining room, which has more of a café vibe than that of a typical pizza house. Tutta Bella is very family friendly, but it's also nice enough to serve as a first-date spot, and as the evening progresses you'll see plenty of couples and groups of friends sipping wine and beer as they enjoy their pies. The place gets packed on weekends, and although there is a small lot adjacent to the building, finding parking can be a problem when it fills up.
