Head to this Ballard institution to see what locals love about this unpretentious neighborhood. The pub (a dining room and a separate bar in the back) isn't much to look at—a lot of wood paneling, simple wood tables and chairs, and some unfortunate floral upholstery—but it has a "Prost"-worthy selection of German beers and one delicious fried pickle. True to its name, Peoples draws an interesting cross section of the neighborhood, from the young and trendy to old-school fishermen.
