$-$$, Argentine, San Telmo
Fodor's Review:
Sometimes atmosphere completely carries a restaurant. Such is the case with Abril, a bright, quirky space that it's impossible not to be enchanted by, even if the food isn't as captivating. An unusual assortment of memorabilia -- some Argentine, some American -- is the backdrop for the quick and friendly service, which caters largely to a business lunch crowd (there's a good 14-peso prix fixe). Dishes have everything from Mexican to Asian preparations. Presentations are uniformly beautiful, though the pastas, such as salmon ravioli, are the best choices.
