Brasserie Petanque

Brasserie Petanque Review

Upon entering this classic French brasserie, you're greeted by a long and imposing bar, bookended by white pillars and backed by shelf after enticing shelf of liquor and wine. This festive San Telmo locale has scores of small white-linen tables where you can enjoy great onion soup and local interpretations of French classics, like steak tartare and beef bourguignonne. Surprisingly, the wine list is quite small, with only a few French wines, but they make up for it with an ample spirits selection and friendly bartenders. Get a table by the window to check out the people cruising by outside. Reservations are recommended.
