La Antigua Casona Review
The dusky pink walls, brass bedsteads, antique wardrobes, and embroidered linens of this small B&B make you feel like you're staying in a Merchant-Ivory film. The owner-architect renovated the 1897 house himself, and the fittings are as period as the furnishings: think claw-footed bathtubs, vintage tiles, and doors and floors rescued from demolition sites. Thankfully, old-world charm comes with modern comforts like well-sprung beds and thick bathrobes.
