Museo Arqueológico Provincial
Museo Arqueológico Provincial Review
The Provincial Archaeological Museum houses such treasures as a 2,600-year-old ceramic goddess and the mummy of a two-year-old child dating back 1,000 years. Ceramic pots painted with geometric designs from Yavi and Humahuaca are constantly being added to the collection, and there are ancient bone exhibits, too. A diorama shows what life was like here 9,000 years ago.
