La Posada de Vistalba (Carlos Pulenta) Review

There are two rooms here: one on the second floor of this Tuscan terra-cotta building faces east, where the sun rises over the vineyards; the other faces west, where it sets behind the Andes—both have cream-colored tile floors, dark wicker furniture, and taupe-and-café-au-lait-covered furnishings complement the refined architecture. The restaurant, La Bourgogne, offers long, leisurely lunches—each course paired with the proper wine. At night, when the restaurant is closed, a helpful staff will recommend nearby restaurants and arrange transportation; they can also deliver a light snack and wine to your room.
