Finca Flichman

Finca Flichman Review

In 1873 Don Sami Flichman, a Jewish immigrant, planted the first vines in the stony soil of a former riverbed in the barrancas (ravines) next to the Mendoza River. His son Isaac acquired the property during the 1930s Depression and had the foresight to produce only high-quality grapes. In 1983 the Wertheim family bought the winery, introduced new technology, and added another winery, installing stainless-steel tanks and computerized temperature controls in the underground cellars.
