Mendel Wines Review
Mendel regularly receives scores over 90 from both Wine Spectator and Robert Parker's Wine Advocate for their Malbec as well as to their Malbec-Cabernet Sauvignon blend (Unus). This is testimony to the expert wine-making of one of Argentina's best known winemakers, Roberto de la Mota, and to the dedicated owners of this limited-production winery, where quality, not quantity, is their mantra. In this unassuming 80-year-old adobe building, informal tours point out the loving care grapes receive—from hand-picking to hand-crushing to storage. Reservations are essential.
