Achával Ferrer

Achával Ferrer Review

With a past score of 97 from Wine Spectator for their Malbec, Santiago Achaval's winery on the banks of the Mendoza River continues to consistently score high points for its red wines. The top-quality wines coming out of this winery get huge respect from fellow winemakers. Guided visits include prepaid barrel and bottle tastings. Quimera is a delicious blend of red grapes (Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc) grown on three different fincas, including one in the Uco Valley. Quantities of each grape are adjusted to the quality of the grapes. The tasting fee is discounted from any wine purchase.
