Posada del Jamon

Posada del Jamon Review

It doesn't matter if you are a world-famous winemaker (many are hugely loyal fans of this place and show up often), a local, or a tourist who speaks no Spanish, you will get the same incredibly warm and personalized service at this casual, family-run place that offers ham cooked up every way imaginable (and some ways you have probably never imagined). There are a surprising number of healthful vegetarian options available, and all of the wines offered are from the neighborhood wineries (a great way to get to know the local wine and the stories behind them). A little shop on-site sells some gorgeous and unique artesanal crafts such as hand-knit sweaters, blankets, and artwork. If you like the place so much you don't want to leave, there are very reasonably priced cabañas for rent behind the restaurant.
