Os Candangos
Os Candangos Review
This 25-foot-tall bronze sculpture by Giorgi has become the symbol of Brasília. It pays homage to the candangos, the workers who built the city from scratch. The statue, depicting two gracefully elongated figures holding poles, is across from the Palácio do Planalto.
