If you appreciate tropical flowers or antiques, this inn is for you. An antiques shop in the main building specializes in furniture, and a large collection of Brazilian orchids is on display in the garden, including the inn's namesake. The main building housed different city government offices over the years before it was declared an architectural heritage site in 1990. A recent expansion and renovation preserved the historic flavor. The whitewashed rooms are spacious, with antique furnishings that give each its own character.
