Minas Gerais Restaurants

Amigo do Rei

Amigo do Rei Review

The first Persian restaurant of Brazil appeared in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, but moved to the capital of Minas Gerais in 2002. This homey place has 23 seats. The owner, Cláudio, is the host, and his wife, Nasrin, is the chef. Before your order is ready, the waiter will be happy to inform you about Iranian culture. A recommended dish is the fessenjhuhn, small meat spheres with walnuts and pomegranate, white rice with saffron, and the typical borani zucchini-and-yogurt dip.
