Toca do Vinicius Review
Toca do Vinicius bills itself as a "cultural space and bossa nova salon." The shop, though tiny, does indeed seem like a gathering place for bossa nova aficionados from around the world, and if you're one of them, there's a good chance you'll leave the shop with an e-mail address for at least one new pal. Amid the friendly atmosphere, you can find books on music (a few in English), sheet music, and T-shirts as well as CDs. With luck you might catch the one Sunday a month that the store showcases intimate concerts by some of the finest bossa nova musicians around.
