Igreja de Santa Rita
Igreja de Santa Rita Review
The oldest church in Paraty, the simple Igreja de Santa Rita was built in 1722 by and for freed slaves. Today it houses a small religious art museum (Museu de Arte Sacra). It's a typical Jesuit church with a tower and three front windows. Religious art objects inside the church are constantly being restored.
