Hotel Tropical Review
Nothing in the Amazon can match the majesty of this resort hotel. It's 20 km (12 mi) northwest of downtown and overlooks the Río Negro, with a short path to the beach. In addition to a zoo, sports facilities, and two gorgeous pools, the Tropical has its own dock. The location is remote, far from Centro, but a 20-minute cab ride from the airport. The restaurant is a reliable choice for dinners of regional and international fare.
