This venerable gentleman's club on Plaza Prat has been transformed into a palatial Spanish restaurant, with beautiful Moorish architecture that calls to mind the Alhambra in Granada. The service is good, though rather fussy, and the food is extravagant in the traditional Andalucian style. The paella Valenciana is quite good, as is the variety of sauces that accompany the freshly caught fish. Don't miss the Corvina Carolina, sea bass stuffed with cheese, garlic, and mustard. Try a side of pure catalan (mashed potatoes with bacon, onion, and grilled peppers).
