Viña Balduzzi

Viña Balduzzi Review

Albano Balduzzi, descended from 200 years of Italian winemakers, built the 40-acre estate here in San Javier itself in 1900. Today his great-grandson, Jorge López-Balduzzi, is in charge and pumps out a million liters of wine each year. The premium label features varietals such as cabernet sauvignon, sauvignon blanc, carmenère, merlot, and a sweet late-harvest chardonnay. Tours include a peek at the cellars that stretch underneath the property, and the collection of antique machinery, as well as a tasting. Within the estate is a beautiful expanse of oak and cedar trees that's perfect for a picnic.
