Viña Altaïr

Viña Altaïr Review

Inspired by the brightest star in the Aquila constellation, this French-Chilean joint venture was formed to produce one excellent wine: Altaïr. Today the winery offers a second celestial bottling called Sideral. Both are red blends from grapes grown in the foothills of the Andes. The winery offers three different types of tours ranging from a basic visit to horseback riding through the vineyards and high into the hills. There's even a spectacular nocturnal version that includes a moonlight ride on horseback through the vineyards and a tasting under the stars. All tours include tastings of one or both house wines. The stunning view comes free of charge.
