La Casa Amarilla Review
This small, friendly hotel was set up by an Englishman enamoured with the town's colonial wonders. More of a guesthouse and hostel than a hotel, La Casa Amarilla is on the bank of the Magdalena River and offers dormitory accommodation as well as much nicer private rooms around a tended internal garden. This is also the best place in town to rent bikes, a lovely way to explore Mompox.
