Fodor's Review:
Fishing nets hanging from the wall clue you in that the specialty here is seafood -- cooked Ecuadoran style, naturally. Small and informal, the restaurant opened in 1969 when Avenida Amazonas was the most popular shopping street in Quito. If you haven't tried Corvina yet (a Pacific sea bass), have it here, drowned in shrimp sauce.
