Built on a hillside 25 km (16 mi) from Encarnación, this hotel has spectacular views of the rolling countryside, and makes a convenient base for visiting the Jesuit ruins at Trinidad and Jesús. Rustic rooms with reddish brick walls are furnished with sturdy wood furniture. Accommodations are in single-story bungalows that surround four swimming pools fed by natural springs, which are said to have therapeutic properties. (Some people come here to take the waters.) Rates include all meals.
