Sonesta Hotel El Olívar Review
Standing at the edge of an old olive grove, this luminous hotel has one of the most relaxed settings in San Isidro. This is especially true if you avail yourself of the sundeck and pool on the top floor. Rooms are predominantly beige with bright swaths of yellow and orange; the nicest ones are in front, with big windows for admiring the greenery of Parque El Olivar. Standard rooms are a bit small, but executive rooms are amply proportioned, and suites have private balconies. The clientele is mostly business travelers, but this is an excellent option for tourists, since it is walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops. Peruvian cuisine is served with a view of the park at El Olivar, at the end of the lobby, whereas Ichi Ban, downstairs, offers sushi and sashimi.
