Titilaka Review

The best hotel on the lake, period. This stylish ecotourism resort with contemporary flair is all-inclusive and offers an off-the-beaten-path location, overlooking the lake next to the Chucuito Peninsula, on Peninsula Titilaka, about a 30-minute boat ride from Puno. The brick exterior resembles more of a lake house than a boutique hotel, but the interior—-classic euro-contemporary with hints of Peruvian color—-make this all-inclusive resort truly unique. Paper mache cows adorn the sleek lobby where guests' oxygen levels are tested upon arrival. All rooms at this hotel have nice furnishings, high-quality linens, plasma TVs, heated floors, and lake views. Titilaka offers excursions to the islands, gourmet cuisine, massage services, and a heated outdoor pool.
