Conrad Resort & Casino Review

Spectacularly lit fountains and gardens, an abundant use of marble, and stunning art by Uruguayan painter Carlos Páez Vilaró make this an extraordinary resort. Even though the off-season is quieter, things hop here year-round. Every room has a terrace with views of the beaches. The most prominent draw is the Las Vegas-style casino—the country's best. Head to the blackjack tables, or try your luck at one of the nearly 500 slot machines. The entertainment here reads like a Who's Who of farándula—that's showbiz, Spanish/Latin American style—but Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan are among the U.S. stars who have performed here, too.

Conrad Resort & Casino Review

Nice views from the balconies, but the hotel needs renovation. Rooms were spacious but tired. Very nice staff and excellent food. Had an infestation of moths in many bedrooms, so bring mothballs. Hotel feels like a convention center, so if you want to be in a casino in the center of the action, it is for you...if you want something with more personality, charm, and imtimacy then this is not the hotel for you.
