HITS tours? MICS tours? Mara in early August after Serengeti
Looking to do a 3 day Mara safari at Governors Camp. Any personal experience with either company?
Furthermore, is it worth doing the Mara in early August (1st week) if I was in the Serengeti during the 1st week of July??
Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Not familiar with HITS or MICS, but loved L. Govs.
If it is convenient and affordable, then I'd suggest the Mara, even if you've been to the Serengeti. I've spent 4 nights in the Serengeti in July and then 6 nights in the Mara at the end of the trip and enjoyed both places.

We spent 5 nights Lil Gov last Sept. loved it. Check the "rack" published rates for Lil Gov, on web site or call them. You should not be paying more than that. I booked via my local travel agent who used A&K in Kenya, Nairobi, to handle the booking (or something like that) and A&K was there to assist us in many ways.
