Kenya Airways
Just found out our tour company booked us for the London to Nairobi leg on Kenya Airways. What can we expect from this airline? Suggestions regarding seating, any other tips appreciated.

We flew them for that leg too, but to be honest I can't remember much. I'm not sure what the seat configuration is (I do remember I had an aisle seat). If no one here can help, you might also try posting on the Airlines board.
I'm not sure where you're flying from originally, but for us the trip to Nairobi was shorter and seemed easier than SFO-LHR.
The flight attendants were nice and our flights departed and arrived on time. All this is anecdotal, of course.

You can try a search on the forums at flyertalk.com for Kenya Airways. I think you have to register in order to use the search function on that message board. I believe KQ flies 767's on this route but am not sure. I found these 2 threads which seem pretty positive. The first one is on general quality, the second has some specific seat recs for both economy and business class -

Our travel arrangements with 2Afrika include a London/Nairobi flight on Kenya Airways. Any feedback on this airline?

I flew Kenya Air from Nairobi to Cairo just 2 weeks ago & had to pay hefty excess baggage charges for the 2 bags I checked through to Cairo. Although,it appeared that you could carry on just about anything.
