Grcxx3 - We'll hit the beaches of Hurghada or the Cornishe in Luxor and get more marriage proposals than you can shake a stick at.

I'm sick thinking of it. LOL

What is going on here? This is all too funny. Or is it because today is Friday!!!

Men will be men and glad to have them. As long as I'm not dead, they can "hoot-n-holla" as much as they want. If any proposals, whether he's young or old, it's "show me the money" And, should any misbehave, it's "I'll tell your momma, and let her smack you upside the head!"

Remember years back in Jerusalem's Old City, Arab Quarter, my friend and her little son were wandering around practically empty steets, which many other than us Big City gals would find off-putting. Most of the men hanging outside their shops and all said hello in both Arabic and Hebrew... we smiled at all and acknowledged in Arabic and Hebrew. Most all invited us in for tea and we did at one shop. The little one (4/yr old boy) played around outside with one of the men and us two princesses enjoyed our tea, told tales and had some good laughs for about 40/min. How harm, no problems!

With travel anywhere, go with a positive attitude, be aware of your surroundings (if anything doesn't feel right of course keep on moving), but always have your sense of humor... life is too short!

Someday when I'm 90 years old I might not feel attractive anymore. That's when I'll go rolling around Cairo in my wheelchair to rejuvinate my self esteem. Even then I will get proposals.

We tour on the Emelio Domina Presige cruise boat and met a lone female traveller last year. She felt a little uneasy going it alone but reported how she made friends on the boat and never felt uneasy throughout. You are looked after by a guide and are with a group so you should have no problems. I would advise you to either hire a guide and car or join group excursions whilst in Cairo. I reccomend a friend to guide you in Cairo if you wish to contact him and go it alone. email [email protected]
