Moscow has three airports, either way none of the airports are near the city and staying out in places like Domodedovo is not particularly nice. From DME and SVO you can take the train into the city centre. To do Moscow justice, you need much more time than one day or night.
You need to check visa requirements and see if you qualify for a transit visa which is easier to obtain than a normal tourist one.

Do you seriously mean AT the airport? Why do that? Are you pretending to be Edward Snowden?
But see: http://www.sleepinginairports.net/europe/moscow.htm
And http://www.sleepinginairports.net/eu...domodedovo.htm
If you change airports you still need a transit visa, but it will be less of a pain that a tourist visa.

I have seen those fares as well how long is a transit visa good for? Today there was a 949 RT fare from SFO pretty hard to beat that.
Also any suggestions for tour company? traveling alone think in this case would be smarter to use tour company 12-15 days would work for me
